
Ibn Kathir
Abdullah ibn Kathir al-Makki, known as Ibn Kathir, was born in Makkah in 45 AH and passed away in 120 AH. He was one of the most respected readers of the Quran in Makkah and was known for his precise and authentic transmission.
Early Life and Legacy
Ibn Kathir al-Makki (45-120 AH/665-738 CE) was one of the seven canonical Quran reciters, highly respected in Makkah. Born into a scholarly family, he displayed exceptional memory and recitation skills from an early age. He learned from prominent Tabi/Successors (Mujāhid ibn Jabr, Dirbās, etc.), who had heard the Quran from various Sahaba/Companions.

Al-Bazzi

Al-Bazzi (Abu Hasan Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Al-Qasim) was born in 170 AH and passed away in 250 AH. He was the chief reciter of Makkah and also the muezzin (caller to prayer) at Masjid Al-Haram
Qunbul
He was also one of the teachers of Abi Bakr ibn Mujāhid (d. 324 A.H.), the author of Kitāb al-Qirā-āt
Qunbul (Abu Amr Muhammad ibn Abdur-Rahman ibn Khalid Al-Makki) was born in 195 AH and passed away in 291 AH. He was regarded as one of the leading Quranic reciters of his time, particularly in the Hijaz region
